Not Rocket Science Sponsors the Garden Party
Not Rocket Science is a proud sponsor of New Heights Therapeutic Center and attended their 16th annual Garden Party. The event was held on the facility's grounds, next to Summergrove Polo Farm, which hosts their annual Golf Classic. Not Rocket Science has worked with New Heights over the years. Darron Goodgion serves on the board and the company designed, hosts, and maintains its website.
While the weather was chilly, that didn't stop supporters from attending! There were over 20 local restaurants and drink vendors that donated their services to the event. There were plenty of silent auctions to choose from. Jewelry from various designers and shops, historical artifacts, and artwork were raising money for the good cause.
The non-profit is dedicated to impacting lives through the healing power of the horse through equine therapy. They assist with a variety of cognitive and physical disabilities and have their own Veterans program. Riders demonstrated their skills during the vent and we got to see their mechanical lift in action, which helped put a disabled Veteran on a horse. A surprise appearance and music from Amanda Shaw closed out the event.
